During the Nineties IRMA was known for quality and technology all across the continent, the research for new solutions was constant and in 1996 the first air-conditioned vehicle with energy recovery was built, supplied with a system of reduction of bacteria in the air and heated loading decks.

IRMA produced its own electronic system of temperature control (the Multiairflowsystem) that would be the precursor of the systems required from the animal welfare 1/2005 EC in the following years.
