The first biggest breakthrough in 1968, was that IRMA built and patented the first vehicle with a lifting deck, until that moment the intermediate decks were made of wooden removable boards.
The first system with the return of cables had a stroke of 1200 mm but the second vehicle had a loading deck that could lift up to 1650 mm and it allowed the operator to climb almost erected inside the vehicle. The revolution in transportation of livestock was started.
